JFS Program Grants

Examples of programs that can take place with donor support include:

• Support groups for children with siblings with special needs.

• Jewish Employment Transition Services (JETS) to assist community members in job crisis.

• Supporting specialized training for clinicians to expand their skills, on any topic from infant development to geriatrics.

• Feeding the hungry – many local families and elderly citizens rely on our kosher food pantry.

• Helping a disabled adult to afford specialty transportation.
  

• Enabling families with an autistic child to access respite care.

• Funding programming for former refugees who still need help adjusting to life in the United States.

• Helping frail elderly to benefit from a special fund that helps pay for prescriptions they cannot afford.
