Support JFS with your Dollars

Jewish Family Services has a unique place in the Greater Hartford Community. Our lifetime range of services is offered to ALL without regard for ability to pay. And yet, we are not a state agency. Our staff’s professional credentialing allows us to bill back to insurance for some of our counseling. Still, many of our programs are offered free of charge to those who need them, and to the public at large.

To make a donation directly to JFS, send a check to:

JFS Endowment Program
Jewish Family Services takes the role of First Responder very seriously. With your thoughtful contributions to our Endowment funds, we can grow and change our programs to meet the future needs of our community. Please contact Anne Danaher for more information on how you can endow the impactful work at JFS.

Current Funding Needs
JFS often has programs that require special donor funding in order to run. These programs often need less than $5,000 but can make a very meaningful difference in our community.

Moat Chitim
Jewish Family Services raises money every year for the Moat Chitim program, literally meaning “wheat money.” This program is based on the ancient custom of providing funds to help needy Jews purchase Passover food.
