Employment Transitions Services provided by JFS


If you are recently under or unemployed, Jewish Employment Transition Services, JETS, offers FREE services to all members of the community, including:

  • JETS Career Center including local job listings

  • Workshop series (check our calendar for new additions)

  • Emotional and career counseling

  • Networking opportunities, through Schmoozers Networking group

  • Resume assistance, interviewing preparation, job profiling, and job coaching

  • Jets Newsletter: Read Now Spring 2011

JFS also offers financial counseling on consumer issues due to recent layoff with the JFS volunteer Money Coach. The JFS Money Coach is available for appointments on Wednesdays from 9-4 at Jewish Family Services. Call 860-236-1927 to set up an appointment.

All JETS programs are free to the public. JETS is a partnership that includes the support of the Mandell JCC, Jewish Federation, of Greater Hartford, synagogues and volunteers.
