Years ago, I had a personal experience with an aging family
member suddenly needing professional care and assistance. No one
in our family had any idea of where to turn for guidance and
support. We did eventually figure it all out, but it took many phone calls and many hours to do so. After the crisis was over, I made it one of my personal goals to help families navigate through the challenges that aging can bring. My quest to find a venue to make this happen brought me to my present position, as the director of JFS Care at Home. Everyone on the Care at Home team treats each family we work with as if it were our own. As an affiliate of Jewish Family Services and working in collaboration with the agency’s older adult programs, we understand the complexities of the aging process. We respect an individual’s choice to stay in their home, and as your partners in care, we will create a care plan with you that will allow you or your family member to remain at home as comfortably, safely and independently as possible.
